Understanding a firm with no AI in place
I’ve worked with firms that had no AI in place, looking at their existing processes and deciding where to begin.
LEGAL EDGE CONSULTINGAbout Atif
I help law firms work out where to use AI and put it into practice.
I’ve worked in litigation for over 15 years, including as a head of department. Alongside that experience, I have a BSc in Computer Science. I understand how solicitors work, the pressure on a litigation team and what it takes to run a department.
I’ve implemented AI in my own business and litigation work, and helped law firms start with no AI in place. My team and I can help with choosing tools, setting them up and training staff to use and check them.
Arrange a discovery callMy implementation experience
I’ve had to make AI work in my own business and litigation work. I’ve also helped firms introduce it where there were no tools or established ways of using it.
The work has included identifying the tasks worth changing and implementing tools that improved efficiency and accuracy. Staff also needed help using those tools in the course of a working day. A successful setup has to account for both.
I’ve trained teams to check sources and recognise hallucinations: answers that sound convincing but are wrong. That means checking facts and references, noticing what’s missing and deciding what can be used. Those checks belong in the working process from the start.
My Computer Science background helps me assess the technology and how it fits with existing systems. My team and I can support the whole process, from the first assessment to implementation across the business. We look for cost-effective ways to reduce repetitive work and make better use of your team’s time.
What I’ve helped firms do
Introducing AI involves decisions about how work gets done as well as which tools to buy.

I’ve trained users to recognise unreliable answers, check the supporting material and keep professional judgement involved.

We can set up and test the tools, support rollout and train your people to use them.
We can stay involved to answer questions, fix problems and improve the process as your team uses it.
Your next step
Tell us what you want to improve and ask us about AI. We can discuss the options and what each would involve.
